RAMPAGE!
An alt-ctrl arcade game that puts you in the boots of a giant tearing through a Nordic world.
An alternative-controller arcade game built for alt.ctrl.GDC. You climb onto the shoulders of a giant and tear through a stylized Nordic village — not with a gamepad, but with your whole body.
A physics-driven rampage where no two runs are the same.
RAMPAGE! puts you in the boots of a giant, viewed from up on its shoulders, stomping through a low-poly Nordic world. Everything is physics-driven, so destruction is emergent and a little unpredictable — houses, trees and townsfolk scatter differently every run. The goal is simple: make it as far as you can and leave a mess.
You don’t press buttons. You lean, grip, and yank.
Instead of a gamepad, the giant is steered by a custom physical controller. You lean your body to guide its path and grip and yank the controls to unleash chaos. It turns playing into a performance — the bigger your movement, the bigger the rampage.

Development on an eight-person team.
RAMPAGE! was made by a team of four designers and four developers at RIT, with me on the development side — building the game in Unity against the custom Arduino controller and the low-poly world modeled in Blender. We submitted it to alt.ctrl.GDC 2026 and presented it alongside Comically Large at Imagine RIT.
